Janvitus – Delitti e castighi

Ciao Janvitus!!Sto per assemblare il computer nuovo con processore intel core 2 duo…quindi un 64 bit. Sono da un anno nel mondo Ubuntu-Linux e ho sempre avuto 32 bit. Volevo sapere esattamente che tipo di problemi potrei riscontrare installando ubu 64…per ora conto di mettere una 32, faccio bene??

Sono un nuovo adepto di Ubuntu (7.04 Feisty a 64 bit), che faccio girare su un Dell Latitude D531 con processore AMD Turion 64.
Ho provato a installare aMule Adunanza 3.11b; non ho avuto nessun errore nella fase di installazione, tuttavia quando lancio l’applicazione, mi si “freeza” allo startup…
Qualche diritta??

How about getting sensors-applet into the Gutsy repo? I’m using the Feisty-deb, and it seems to work fine. Nice to have a working Nvidia monitor!

I set the repositories to allow download of Kino in Ubuntu Feisty from ;

## uPure64 Repository

deb-src http://download.tuxfamily.org/upure64/ feisty-upure64 main-amd64

When splitting a scene, the whole program crashed.
All other programs continued to work well.
After a reboot, it still would not open.

The following link was helpful.
I renamed the history folder,
and it was fixed.
But it may symptomatic of the source code situation that gets mentioned.

I thought you might want to include this correction in your version.

Thanks for the Kino updated version for Ubuntu.
The reason why I went for your update was because the Pan and Zoom plugin that comes with KinoPlus, would crash the Program (in a similar way).
Your version of Kino has Pan and Zoom built in.

I left out the link to web page that talks about Kino’s crash that happens when splitting the scene.

I also saw another site that said this problem was related to the KinoPlus plugin (which includes Pan and Zoom), and may have been related to the graphics environment (Gtk?). KinoPlus had been included into Kino for some versions, but it was then pulled out after this problem was discovered.

Since your version of Kino has Pan and Zoom, it might be worth while checking if it icludes a fixed version of the KinoPlus components.

Grazie per il lavoro svolto.
Volevo segnalare che la versione “upure64″ di nspluginwrapper non permette lo script di installazione del pacchetto flashplugin-nonfree (e neanche, eventualmente, di flashplugin-nonfreebeta).
Lo script si blocca perchè nspluginwrapper considera invalida l’opzione -n.
Con il downgrade alla versione 0.9 (hardy) tutto procede normalmente.

è il nuovo nspluginwrapper che è cambiato nella nuova versione e non prende più l’opzione “-n” che è utilizzata dallo script di flashplayer. Avevo anche io risolto, ma volevo segnalartelo.
